About me!

I'm Andy — 43, husband, father of 3, lifelong surfer, ex-construction boss… and a former rat-race prisoner.

I started working in construction at 15. For nearly three decades, I grafted in the cold and rain — eventually running my own company. On paper, life looked solid: good income, nice house, kids in decent schools. But deep down, I was miserable.

I’d surfed my whole life — nearly 35 years. I always dreamed of raising my kids somewhere tropical. But like most of us, I got stuck.

Stuck in the 9-5.
Stuck in the mortgage trap.
Stuck in the GCSE schooling loop.
Stuck in a life that wasn’t really mine.

Don’t get me wrong — we weren’t struggling. But I couldn’t shake the dread of doing this for another 25 years. My body was breaking down, the stress was constant, and I was slowly falling apart. Everyone else seemed fine with “normal” — so why wasn’t I?

The truth? I’d built the exact life I never wanted — a monster treadmill that felt impossible to get off.

Then one day, after another pub night turned into 5 pints and more fucking self-pity, my wife looked me dead in the eye and said:

“If you hate this life so much, then do something about it. Change it. Stop moaning and make a plan.”

Ouch!!!!

So I did.

Now we live in Barbados. We work online. We surf. We’re raising our family in the warmth, not just the weather — but in life.

And I’m here to help you figure out if you can do the same.

Because you can.

I didn’t have all the answers, but I had a fire in my gut. I asked the questions:

  • How the hell do I move my whole family to Barbados without blowing everything up?

  • How will we earn money?

  • Where will we live?

  • What will people think?

  • What paperwork’s involved? (Visas, schools, taxes — all of it.)

  • And most of all… is it worth it?

Turns out, yes — it was worth every risk, every unknown, and every step into the unfamiliar.

If something inside you is screaming for change…
If you’re tired of just “getting by”…
If you want to know how we made the leap — and how you can too —

Now we live in Barbados. We work online. We surf. We’re raising our family in the warmth, not just the weather — but in life.

And I’m here to help you figure out if you can do the same.

Because you can too your life is on you!
